|ORIGIN: Parent species native to southeastern United States.
TYPE: Clumping evergreen perennial with stiff, leathery, lance-like
leaves up to 2' tall. Flower stalks can reach up to 3' tall.
WATER: Constantly moist. Can be used as bog plants and grown in
shallow standing water.
LIGHT: Part shade to full sun however if in full sun will need plenty
COLD TOLERANCE: Zones 5 - 10
FLOWER: 4" ranging from white to pink to reds to the darkest of
purples and all colors in between
SEASON OF BLOOM: Early spring, late March and into April
