ORIGIN:

PLANT: Herbaceous perennial;   
24" - 30" high; tropical looking
foliage and flowers.

WATER: Evenly moist; best with
regular irrigation.

LIGHT: Full sun

COLD TOLERANCE: Killed to the
ground at 32 degrees but returns
from underground rhizomes.

FLOWER: Yellow, to 4" across, in
clusters atop a slender stem; no
fragrance.

SEASON OF BLOOM: Spring
through Autumn.

USES: En masse, middle of the
border, in pool enclosures, tropical
settings.

OTHER: Some forms have salmon
or pink flowers. These plants can
also be grown in standing water
such as a pond or fountain.
